Introduction

The salesforce app is a group of tabs that helps us with the business needs by working together. It contains Components, Object , Report, tabs and services connected to specific business functions.

Types of Application 

There are two types of application,

 1.Standard Application

 2.Custom Application

1. Standard Application

A standard app logo and description can’t be changed. Every Salesforce instance includes standard apps by default.

2. Custom Application

A Custom app logo and description can be changed easily. The app created for business needs is a Custom app.

How to create Custom Application

Step 1: Search app’s in the quick find search box in the app manager.

Step 2: Click on the new lighting app.

Step 3: Fill in the details and click the next button.

Step 4: Select the desired personalization and navigation you need and click next.

Step 5: Set utility bar alignment and click next

Step 6: Add the navigation items you need by clicking the add button to show as a tab in your app.

Step 7: Select user profiles you need and then  click save and finish button.

Step 8: The search in the app launcher to view you application

Step 9: Click the newly created custom application
