How To Create Playbooks In HubSpot CRM

Step 1: Log in to HubSpot:

Access your HubSpot account by visiting the HubSpot website and logging in with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Playbooks:

In the top navigation bar, click on the “Sales” or “CRM” tab. In the drop-down menu, select “Playbooks.”

Step 3: Create a New Playbook:

Click on the “Create playbook” button to initiate the process of crafting your discovery call playbook.

Step 4: Define Playbook Details:

In the playbook creation window, provide the following details:

Playbook Name: Give your playbook a descriptive name, such as “Discovery Call Framework.”

Category: Choose a category that aligns with the playbook’s purpose, such as “Sales Process” or “Consultative Selling.”

Objective: Briefly outline the goal of the playbook, which is to guide successful discovery calls.

Step 5: Add Steps and Content:

For each step in the discovery call playbook:

  • Click “Add step” and give the step a name (e.g., “Introduction” or “Understanding Needs”).
  • Input content specific to each step, including key questions to ask, discussion points, and strategies.

Step 6: Set Up Question and Answer (Optional):

To allow users to ask the contact a question and then enter their answers or select their answers from a predetermined set of responses, click the Question and Answer icon in the dialog box, write a question or prompt, select an answer option.

Open Text: To enter Response in an open text field.

List of Answers Option: Select from a predetermined set of responses that then save as a note on the contact record to add a quick replay click into the quick reply field and enter the replay option.

Update Property: Set of response that then saves to a contact, then click property type drop-down and select the property type to link

Step 7: Settings

To Specific engagement should log as when it is saved to records click the engagement type drop down menu to create a question and answer.
